The Together Forever programme is a condensed 6-hour marriage preparation initiative aimed at helping couples build strong, lasting relationships.

Emphasising integrity, trust, and honesty, the programme encourages couples to take ownership of their relationship. It equips them with essential skills such as effective communication, conflict resolution, and financial management, while also addressing emotional and physical intimacy. Couples gain insights into the impact of family dynamics and receive guidance on family planning. Through couple activities, the programme fosters deeper understanding and practical skills, laying a solid foundation for a fulfilling and resilient marriage.

• Effective Communication & Conflict Management: Learn proven techniques to communicate clearly, manage disagreements constructively, and build emotional safety. 
• Deeper Self-Awareness & Mutual Understanding: Reflect on personal values, relationship patterns, and emotional needs to foster empathy and connection with your partner.
• Financial Planning as a Couple: Gain practical skills to align financial goals, manage budgets, and make informed decisions together.
• Navigating Family Dynamics: Understand how your family background shapes your relationship and develop healthy strategies for managing in-law relationships.\

  In addition, the couples will also benefit from two mentoring sessions conducted at a mutually convenient time with our trained marriage mentors. These sessions include the Prepare/Enrich Couple Assessment, a proven tool designed to help couples gain deeper insights into their relationship dynamics.

Who should attend? Suitable for all committed couples, especially the soon-to-weds and newly weds (up to 2 years).

• Rebate of $170 is applicable to all soon-to-wed and newly wed couple(s) attending Marriage Preparation Programme for the first time. Either one of the spouses must be a Singapore Citizen or Singapore Permanent Resident.

• This programme is fully subsidised for couples who are

  • Part of ComLink+ or KidSTART
  • Receiving ComCare Short- or Medium-Term Assistance (SMTA)
  • Assessed to be in need based on SMTA income criteria and referred by Family Service Centres
