Grow Your Own ‘Mini Garden’ (FULL)

THIS IS A 1-SESSION ONLINE COURSE. Have you ever wanted to grow and harvest your very own garden but are not able to do so due to space constraints? Well, here's the next best thing: you get to make your own terrarium! Terrariums are miniature indoor gardens in a sealed container. The plants and the soil in the terrarium release water vapour – essentially recycling water. You will get adorn your own terrarium with materials like decorative rocks to hone and showcase your creativity. Pre-packed materials will be provided (refer to the prerequisites list below for more information), all you need to prepare yourself is a clear 1-litre bottle, a pair of scissors or penknife, and some water. Prerequisite(s):
- 50 years old and above
- Singaporean or PR
- Must be able to understand and converse in simple English
- Participants will have to collect their pre-packed materials directly from Family Central's office based on their allocated time slots. More information will be given to you once you are successfully registered
- Participants have to prepare a clear and empty 1-litre bottle, a pair of scissors or penknife, and some water
